Breathing with the Universe
At Gajuki, we believe Budo is a way of life.
Martial Arts that can be practiced by men and women of all ages.
Upon closer examination, practitioners will find from Gajuki what they are looking for, whether it is an applicable self-defense technique, spiritual enlightenment, physical health or peace of mind. Because just like Ueshiba Sensei (Aikido great Master) we emphasize the moral and spiritual aspects of these arts; placing great weight on the development of harmony and peace. "The Way of Harmony of the Spirit" is one way that "Aikido" may be translated into English.
This is still true of Gajuki today, although different styles emphasize the more spiritual aspects to greater or lesser degrees. The idea of a martial discipline striving for peace and harmony may seem paradoxical, it is the most basic tenet of our arts. We could attempt to pigeonhole Gajuki into a synopsis of "X" number of words, but that would not do it justice, so we leave the practitioner to find out what Gajuki is for themselves without any preconceived notions.
We urge you to come to one of our schools and wake up the power within you.
We hope you enjoy our website and will stop by and visit us if you are in the area. This site is designed to give you information about our facility, our style of martial arts, and our staff and provide you with information on how to contact us as well.
We offer a Free Introductory Class to give new potential students an opportunity.
